Conversion charge

In accordance with the Federal Network Agency's decision on account of a conversion system in cross-quality gas market areas of 21 December 2016 (BK7-16-050), GASPOOL is allowed to charge a conversion fee for the conversion from high calorific value quality (“high CV gas”) to low calorific value quality (“low CV gas”). For the conversion from low CV gas to high calorific value quality high CV gas GASPOOL will apply no conversion fee anymore. On account of this determination, the conversion fee shall, however, be subject to a cap. The conversion fee cap shall be set at 0.45 EUR/MWh.

 

The conversion fee for the conversion from high CV gas to low CV gas from 1 October 2019 to 30 September 2020 will decrease to 0.42 EUR/MWh. For the conversion from CV gas to high CV gas GASPOOL will apply no conversion fee.

The conversion fee for the conversion from high CV gas to low CV gas from 1 October 2018 to 30 September 2019 was set at 0.45 EUR/MWh. For the conversion from CV gas to high CV gas GASPOOL will apply no conversion fee.

Conversion allocation

From 1 October 2019 to 30 September 2020 GASPOOL applies a conversion neutrality charge of 0.005 EUR/MWh. The charge apply to all physical entry quantities.

Previously, GASPOOL applied a conversion neutrality charge of 0.075 EUR/MWh from 1 October 2018 to 30 September 2019.
