Conversion neutrality account

GASPOOL has an obligation under section 4(d) of the operative provisions of the decision amending the German gas quality conversion mechanism handed down by the national regulatory authority Bundesnetzagentur (below referred to as the “Federal Network Agency”) on 21 December 2016 (ref: BK7-16-050) to publish the monthly balances of its conversion neutrality account no later than five business days after the end of each month based on the available preliminary data. This data is subsequently updated once all relevant final data required for the purpose of publication is available.

The balance of the conversion neutrality account is calculated from all relevant revenue and expenditure items according to the KONNi Gas ruling as they are recorded in our accounts:

  • costs/revenues from conversion measures,
  • interest expenditure,
  • other expenditure,
  • amounts distributed to BGMs,
  • revenues from conversion fee payments,
  • revenues from conversion neutrality charges,
  • interest income.
